Full Job Description

Primary Purpose: To provide administrative, human resource, and bookkeeping support to the collective businesses of the Arrowhead Business Group.

Essential Responsibilities:

General Administration:

Administers the assignment and recovery of all company owned assets in accordance with the specific needs of each position.
Maintains the appropriate level of office supplies for the company - issues to departments with remote office locations.
Assist team leaders with inventory documentation, ordering & reporting.
Assist in monitoring license and permit renewals.
Assists the Director of Sales & Marketing and the General Manager in the Facilitation of the donation request program.
Receives all company mail and distributes to the pertinent areas.
Answers all inbound calls as designed, routing and/or taking messages for distribution.
Assist in maintaining the organization of the Google Drive.
Assist in maintaining the Google Calendar for the group.

Bookkeeping:

Assists in compliance with established purchasing / receiving / inventory control / accounts payable / accounts receivable / and budget reporting practices and procedures.
Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with all vendors.
Receives and records deposits within the appropriate software platform.
Assists in the reporting of all cash variances.
Assists in the collection of established deposit timelines in accordance with contracts.
Adheres to establish Chart of Account coding protocols as approved by the General Manager and Ownership. Make recommendations for improvement.
Trains all pertinent team leaders on accounting policies and procedures.
Assists the General Manager with financial reporting.
Participates in leadership meetings to provide support and resources pertinent to topics.

Human Resource Administration:

Administers all established Human Resource Activities as approved by the General Manager and Ownership.
Administers team member recruiting efforts in accordance with open requisitions, aligned with the approved staffing matrix by period and position compendiums.
Administers team member onboarding activities and the maintaining of accurate team member records, utilizing Quickbooks Software and applications and paper files.
Assists in the administration of the annual team member performance evaluation program.
Assists in the administration and recommendations for improvement of all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assists with the development / updating / and deployment of training materials.
All other duties as assigned
While the above listed duties represent some of the duties and responsibilities of the position, not all duties and responsibilities can be identified within the scope of this description. As the businesses respond to seasonal volume changes, there will be occasions where the position will provide operational support when required. This could include duties assisting in Food & Beverage, Banquets, Sets, and Golf Team duties.

Required Qualifications:

First and foremost - must be an exceptional team member with a strong natural drive to provide support to others in the pursuit of excellence.
Must thrive in a client-facing busy office environment with heavy sensory engagement.
An Associated Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university is required.
Three to five years experience in a related position. Some experience may be substituted with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Operational knowledge of Quickbooks products.
Strong competency with Google Applications.
A Champion of positive communication and the deployment of positive energy into the working environment.
Reliable and predictable attendance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong willingness to learn / adapt / assimilate and support the desired company culture of positivity, inclusiveness, respect, with the desire to exceed expectations.
Excellent organizational; time management; problem solving; technology, skills.
Must have a strong desire to operate within a support role in a culture that celebrates business Best Practice evolution.

Preferred Qualifications: (but not required)

Familiarity with Quickbooks products.
Familiarity with Caterease software.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
