Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of our vibrant South Shore Burger Bar. This role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will inspire your team, optimize restaurant performance, and ensure an unforgettable dining experience for every guest. Your leadership will foster a positive work culture, promote teamwork, and uphold our commitment to excellence in casual dining.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations
Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled team capable of providing top-tier hospitality.
Supervise shift management, ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering supplies timely to prevent shortages or waste.
Lead staff meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions focused on food safety management, food handling procedures, and team leadership skills.
Ensure compliance with all health regulations and food safety standards while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to uphold our reputation for excellent service.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in food production, catering services, and hospitality management.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing restaurants with a strong background in food industry operations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
Strong understanding of food safety management, inventory control, and food handling procedures.
Experience with kitchen management including food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary standards.
Ability to analyze financial data related to profit & loss statements and manage budgets effectively.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff and lead teams confidently.
Prior experience in casual dining or burger bar environments is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
A proactive approach to staff training & development along with strong managerial communication skills are critical for success in this role.

Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,600.00 per week
