Full Job Description

Continue Your Service in a Pre-School

We are seeking retired law enforcement professionals to serve as School Security Officers in Pelham Manor, NY. This role offers a stable daytime schedule, professional environment, and the opportunity to continue protecting and mentoring within a school community.

Responsibilities

Maintain a visible security presence on campus
Monitor school grounds and identify safety concerns
Respond to incidents and follow established security protocols
Complete incident reports and documentation
Support staff, students, and visitors professionally
Assist with de-escalation and emergency response when needed

Qualifications

Retired Law Enforcement Officer (10+ years required)
Valid NYS Security Guard License
16-Hour OJT Certificate
Valid Driver’s License (3+ years)
Prior security experience preferred
CPR/AED certification a plus
