Full Job Description

Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as diapering and toilet training
- Administer medication to children as needed, following proper protocols
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for all children
- Keep records of daily activities, including meals, naps, and milestones

Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience and compassion when working with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Basic understanding of financial acumen to assist with budgeting for supplies and resources
- Familiarity with social work principles to provide support to families in need
