With more than 25 years of experience in the U.S. medical imaging market, DRTECH continues to expand its North American business and service operations.

We are looking for a motivated Medical Imaging Service Engineer to join our growing U.S. team in Alpharetta, Georgia.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer or technical professional who wants to build specialized expertise in digital radiography, X-ray imaging systems, medical device service, DICOM/PACS, networking, and customer technical support.

Position Overview

The Medical Imaging Service Engineer will provide technical support and service for DRTECH's digital X-ray detectors and medical imaging products.

The position includes hands-on troubleshooting and repair, technical support for customers and distributors, product inspection, service documentation, and occasional field support.

You will work closely with DRTECH's U.S. sales and service teams as well as our engineering and technical support teams at global headquarters.

This position provides an opportunity to develop both technical engineering and customer-facing skills while building a long-term career in the medical imaging industry.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Korean language proficiency is a plus.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience with digital X-ray, DR, or C-ARM hardware repair (preferred)
Strong customer-facing and communication skills
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments (preferred)
Knowledge of PACS, DICOM, HIPAA, and PHI protection (preferred)
Basic networking knowledge (IP, routing, connectivity, troubleshooting)
Familiarity with MS Office, Google Drive, and CRM systems
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Forklift experience (a plus, not required)

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of DRTECH imaging systems
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
Conduct product demonstrations and support pre-sales activities
Perform failure analysis, repair, and corrective actions for defective products
Conduct product upgrades, modifications, and system improvements
Provide product training and technical guidance to customers
Manage RMA processes and track service progress through CRM systems
Perform incoming/outgoing quality control (IQC/OQC) for service and sales products
Coordinate with headquarters (HQ) for technical updates and service processes
Maintain and manage service and spare parts inventory.
Support service-related logistics, shipping, and RMA activities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned

Work Conditions

Occasional after-hours meetings with HQ (international coordination)
On-site customer visits and business travel as needed
Remote technical support as required
Overtime may be required in urgent situations
