Job Overview

The Member Experience & Communications Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and continually improving every communication channel that connects Rx Valet with its members.

This executive-level leadership role oversees our AI-powered communication strategy, phone systems, IVR technology, member texting platforms, written communications, customer engagement initiatives, and digital communication technologies.

The Director will ensure that every member interaction reflects the high-touch concierge experience that distinguishes Rx Valet from traditional pharmacy benefit managers.

This role combines customer experience leadership, communications strategy, technology management, artificial intelligence, operational excellence, and analytics to create an industry-leading member experience.

The Director will work closely with Executive Leadership, Operations, Shield PBM, Customer Service, Account Management, Pharmacy Operations, Marketing, and Information Technology to develop innovative communication strategies that improve engagement, increase efficiency, and enhance member satisfaction.
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Member Experience & Communications Manager to lead our organization’s member engagement and communication strategies. This pivotal role involves crafting compelling content, managing media relations, and enhancing member interactions across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing a passion for storytelling, public relations expertise, and a knack for building meaningful connections with diverse audiences. Your leadership will ensure our messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with our organizational goals, fostering a vibrant community that feels valued and informed.

Duties

Key Leadership ResponsibilitiesMember Experience Leadership

Own the end-to-end member communication experience across every communication channel, ensuring every interaction is timely, professional, empathetic, and consistent with the Rx Valet brand.

Develop communication strategies that increase member satisfaction, engagement, trust, and long-term loyalty.

Establish communication standards, service expectations, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

AI Communication Strategy

Lead the organization’s AI communication roadmap.

Responsibilities include:

· AI-powered phone systems

· Intelligent call routing

· AI voice assistants

· Conversational AI

· Automated member engagement

· AI-generated communications

· Workflow automation

· Communication analytics

· Emerging communication technologies

Evaluate new technologies that improve the member experience while increasing operational efficiency.

Enterprise Communications

Provide leadership for all member communications including:

· Phone systems

· IVR design

· Text messaging platforms

· Email communications

· Automated notifications

· Member outreach campaigns

· Website communications

· Member portals

· Chat technologies

· Educational materials

· FAQs

· Letters and correspondence

· Digital communication strategies

Ensure every communication is clear, accurate, compassionate, compliant, and aligned with the organization’s mission.

Customer Engagement & Member Outreach

Design proactive engagement strategies that improve:

· Member participation

· Prescription adherence

· Program enrollment

· Customer satisfaction

· First-call resolution

· Communication responsiveness

· Digital engagement

· Member retention

Create communication journeys that anticipate member needs before they arise.

Analytics & Performance Management

Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure communication effectiveness, including:

· Call center performance

· AI utilization

· Member satisfaction

· Customer feedback

· Operational efficiency

Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize the member experience.

Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as the organizational leader for member communications by partnering with:

Qualifications Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 5+ years of leadership experience in communications, customer experience, contact center operations, member engagement, or healthcare operations.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience leading communication technologies, phone systems, IVR platforms, and digital engagement initiatives.

· Experience implementing or managing AI-enabled customer communication platforms.

· Strong leadership and team development skills.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.

· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
