Position: Line Cook

Reporting Relationships

Position Reports to: Head Chef

Compensation: Starting at $13/hour

Job Overview:

Champions Landing is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations. Champions Landing is committed to providing exceptional dining experiences, and we are looking for individuals who share our dedication to excellence.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Work collaboratively with team members to expedite orders during peak service hours.
Monitor food levels and communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and replenishment.
Uphold Champions Landing's standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Remain knowledgeable about menu items to accommodate guest inquiries and dietary restrictions.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety standards.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by demonstrating professionalism and respect towards colleagues.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

Requirements:

Experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant or food service establishment preferred.
Communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical stamina and dexterity to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
Certification from a culinary school or relevant food safety training is a plus.
