Full Job Description

DISC Surgery Center stands as the epitome of excellence in spine care, orthopedics, interventional pain management, and sports medicine. Our cutting-edge facilities, strategically located across Southern California and Florida, represent the pinnacle of innovation in minimally invasive surgical solutions. We set the benchmark for high-acuity procedures in an outpatient setting nationwide. Our commitment to pioneering medical advancements is showcased through our state-of-the-art outpatient surgery centers and full-service clinics.

DISC Surgery Center is seeking a full-time PreOp/PACU RN for our Carlsbad location.

In this position, you will:

Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families

To ensure success in this role, you should have:

Valid RN license
BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
2 years’ experience in acute care, PACU, or ICU experience

Pay Range: $55.00 - $65.00/hour
