Job Details:
Salas O’Brien is looking for a BIM Specialist/modeler to assist project managers and technical design staff in the development of Mechanical and Plumbing engineering models LOD 200, 300 and 350 for production of design drawings, construction documents, templates, families, and details for projects in markets such as commercial office space, mission critical, telecommunications, healthcare, and education. The role also involves support to BIM and Digital Delivery initiatives by creating and maintaining BIM content for the organization. This position reports to the office Principal and BIM Manager whilst working as an integrated part of project’s design teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing drawing sets, plans and details with engineers.
- Set up new projects in Revit environment.
- Provide guidance to Engineers for detail development.
- Develop Revit families, schedules, and project details.
- Develop Revit templates.
- Develop and coordinate construction documents.
- May act as a coordinator on projects.
- Support the development of BIM content.
Skills:
- Proficient in all Revit platforms.
- Proficient with Revit families, Revit parameters, and Revit schedules.
- Ability to work with design teams on multiple projects at the same time.
- Proficient with BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Team player with flexibility to accommodate different client’s needs and project’s requirements.
- Experience with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat PDF.
- Knowledge of Dynamo preferred.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of a technical college diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
- 5+ years of engineering drafting and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with Autodesk Revit.
Location: Tustin or San Diego, CA
Travel: Not required.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
