With a fleet of over 300 school buses and transportation vehicles, we serve multiple locations while maintaining a personalized, small-company approach that emphasizes attention to detail and responsiveness.

<Job Overview>
We are seeking a motivated and responsible School Bus Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the safe, reliable transportation of students to and from school, while providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive experience for children. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and mechanical knowledge will help create a secure and welcoming environment for all passengers.

<Duties>

Safely operate school buses and other transportation vehicles according to traffic laws and company policies
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical functionality
Pick up and drop off students at designated stops, ensuring timely arrivals and departures
Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and dispatchers to coordinate routes and address concerns
Enforce behavior management policies to maintain a safe and respectful environment onboard
Complete all necessary logs, reports, and safety documentation accurately and promptly

<Experience>

Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving, preferably with school bus driving or paratransit services
Strong communication skills
Experience working with children or in childcare environments is highly desirable
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to manage behavior effectively and handle emergency situations calmly
Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for school bus or commercial driving; clean driving record required
