WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

SWSCALE is seeking an Outside Sales Representative (O.S.R.) to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with current and prospective customers while meeting or exceeding sales targets. The O.S.R. will work closely with customers to understand their needs, build lasting relationships, and deliver quality proposals that help close business and support SWSCALE’s growth. This role will also be responsible for developing short- and long-term sales strategies and executing sales plans that increase regional sales volume and improve profit margins with target customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding SWSCALE’s market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and driving profitable growth across the region.

Responsibilities also include:

Deliver top level service and communication internally and externally.
Prospect opportunities and companies and market products within core markets.
Identify and bid all appropriate projects within assigned marketing area. Participate in the development of bid strategy for each job.
Utilize various software tools (NetSuite, Office Suite) to manage prospects, issue quotes and communicate with a broader team.
Will be responsible for meeting specific sales volumes and profit margin goals.
Partner with other departments (Service, Operations, Transportation, and Accounting) to ensure every account receives the highest level of customer service.
Communicate with the broader SWSCALE team to manage and coordinate sales to customers, as well as to leverage the product portfolio across company boundaries.
Actively participate in industry-related associations as required in order to develop and maintain key networking and business relationships.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE

Self motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to travel throughout the sales territory.
Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Reside inside the 470 loop circling Denver to facilitate sales travel.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Demonstrate strong business acumen in regard to sales and marketing.
Proficient in basic Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Oracle NetSuite experience
