We are actively seeking a Senior Audio-Visual (AV) Technician to enhance our Professional Services team. This pivotal role focuses on the integration and expert installation of sophisticated AV systems at client sites. The ideal candidate will bring a sharp attention to detail and a commitment to precision, ensuring installations are executed flawlessly. As a leader within our field teams, you will play a critical role in transforming and modernizing the technological landscapes of conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums and other various commercial settings, thereby directly impacting client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Salary
- $70,000 to $100,000 (depending on experience)
- Manage external activities including all out-sourced or sub-contract work in support of project installation activities.
- Lead and supervise the installation of audio, video, and lighting systems, ensuring all components meet the highest standard of quality and functionality.
- Design and configure software for AV control systems, optimizing performance for user needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AV equipment, including on-site adjustments and recommending system upgrades.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other technicians to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
- Conduct rigorous testing and final handover of AV systems to clients, providing training and support as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in AV system design and installation.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in AV installation and management, with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
- Proficiency with digital soundboards, connectivity interfaces, and video conferencing systems.
- Expertise in network management and AV software solutions.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead teams under tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight travel.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Current certifications such as InfoComm CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D are highly desirable.
- OSHA 10 certification is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
All roles at our company are full-time, non-contractual positions. As part of a dynamic team, each member may occasionally be required to perform a variety of tasks, especially in urgent situations. While specialization in your role is the primary focus, cross-training for overall organizational resilience is also a key objective.
