Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, organized, relationship-driven Recruiter who is passionate about finding and attracting exceptional talent.
The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process, from identifying and sourcing qualified candidates through interviewing, selection, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
This position will work closely with leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and ensure our company continues to attract employees who align with both the company's business objectives and its core values.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of corporate recruiting or staffing agency experience and possess a proven ability to identify qualified candidates, build relationships, manage multiple openings, and move candidates efficiently through the hiring process.
This is a hands-on recruiting position for someone who can source, engage, evaluate, communicate, and get results.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage the recruiting process from initial requisition through candidate placement.
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated openings.
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, referrals, databases, and other recruiting channels.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone and/or video interviews and assess candidates against established qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Assist with reference checks, background checks, employment verification, and other pre-employment requirements as applicable.
- Coordinate offers and assist with the transition from candidate selection to onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and timely recruiting records.
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Proactively source candidates rather than relying solely on incoming applications.
- Build talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to reach qualified candidates.
- Establish and maintain relationships with potential candidates for future opportunities.
- Maintain an organized candidate database and recruiting pipeline.
- Monitor recruiting trends and identify new sourcing channels.
- Build relationships with professional networks, schools, community organizations, and other talent sources when appropriate.
Candidate Experience
- Represent company professionally throughout the recruitment process.
- Create a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with candidates regarding application status, interviews, expectations, and next steps.
- Provide candidates with accurate information about the company, position, culture, and expectations.
- Ensure candidates are treated with professionalism, respect, and transparency.
- Protect confidential candidate and company information.
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Work closely with hiring managers to establish recruiting priorities and timelines.
- Provide regular updates regarding candidate pipelines and recruiting activity.
- Help hiring managers understand market conditions and candidate availability.
- Make informed candidate recommendations based on qualifications, experience, culture alignment, and position requirements.
- Assist in developing and improving job descriptions and recruiting strategies.
- Identify potential hiring challenges and proactively recommend solutions.
Recruiting Metrics & Accountability
- Track recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, interviews, offers, hires, and time-to-fill.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking and recruiting documentation.
- Provide regular recruiting reports and updates to leadership.
- Monitor recruiting performance and identify opportunities to improve the hiring process.
- Establish and maintain consistent follow-up practices.
- Help ensure open positions are actively managed and moved forward without unnecessary delays.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience in a corporate environment or staffing agency.
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience sourcing candidates through multiple recruiting channels.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and hiring managers.
Preferred
- Experience recruiting within transportation, logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related industry.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms.
- Experience recruiting high-volume or operational positions.
- Experience developing recruiting pipelines and talent pools.
- Staffing agency experience with measurable recruiting results.

Pay: $59,412.55 - $65,000.00 per year
