Full Job Description

Location: North Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania (Travel Required)

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Regional Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the condition and appearance of a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties throughout North Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. This is a field-based position requiring regular travel between properties using a company-provided truck.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes pride in maintaining properties, and can identify and complete minor repairs while proactively reporting larger maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of assigned properties to identify maintenance, safety, and appearance issues.
Maintain clean, professional property conditions, including litter removal and general grounds upkeep.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance, including: o Interior and exterior painting
Minor asphalt and concrete patching oParking lot restriping and signage repairs
Fence, gate, and curb repairs oLight carpentry and general handyman work
Minor plumbing and electrical repairs (where qualified)
Coordinate with property management to prioritize maintenance projects.
Document property conditions and provide reports, photos, and recommendations.
Monitor vendors performing work onsite and verify quality and completion.
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a safe and organized condition.
Respond to occasional urgent maintenance issues as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or general construction experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to utilize mobile technology for daily coordination.
Strong handyman skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience with painting, patching, basic carpentry, and general repairs.
Mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or other skilled trade experience is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
Willingness to travel regularly throughout North Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
