Weekend Activities Assistant

If you have a cheerful personality, a love for creating engaging experiences, and the ability to commit to weekends, we invite you to join our dedicated team at Grand Villa of Englewood, a beautiful senior living community in sunny Englewood, Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging recreational activities and entertainment for residents on weekends
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home and promotes social interaction
Motivate and inspire residents to participate in activities that enhance their well-being and quality of life
Collaborate with team members to develop new activity ideas tailored to residents’ interests and needs
Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during activities and outings
Maintain activity supplies and ensure the activity area is clean and inviting

Skills and Qualifications:

Genuine enthusiasm for working with seniors and enhancing their daily experiences
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Creativity and ability to develop engaging activity plans
Reliable and committed to working weekends (Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm)
Previous experience in recreational therapy, activities, or a related field is preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate, patient, and positive attitude
