Full Job Description

This position for Accounting Assistant will work in the Accounting department reporting to the Controller with primary responsibilities of Collections and Accounts Receivable/Billing.

The following duties are as follows:

make collection calls, resolve any issues and ensure receivables are collected timely
update management during Monday meetings of any issues regarding collections
apply cash received daily
prepare deposit and take to the bank
process credit references and send letter to customer
set up new customer account with proper paperwork (supplier paperwork from customer, Amatech paperwork, sales tax exemptions)
invoice customers daily, mail or email invoices (or enter into portal) to customer as directed
upload billing into Sentry system
process credit card payments
reconcile general ledger accounts as assigned
back up for accounts payable position
replenish postage
answer phones
order office supplies
other duties as assigned

Potential yearly bonus.

Pay: $33,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
