Full Job Description

Have you ever noticed two restaurants with similar menus, similar prices, and similar service—but one has a line out the door while the other struggles to keep the lights on?

Do you find yourself wondering why?

Why does one business become the place everyone talks about while another, which may be just as good, remains mostly empty?

And do you suspect the answer probably has something to do with how those businesses market themselves?

If those are the kinds of questions you naturally ask, we may have a job for you.

We are looking for an experienced marketer who understands that good marketing is not just about making things look attractive. It is about understanding what makes people pay attention, take action, schedule a call, and ultimately become a client.

This is not a position for someone whose idea of marketing is spending all day in Canva.

It is not a position for someone who believes views, impressions, likes, and followers are the final score. Those numbers can matter—but only when they contribute to leads, scheduled consultations, clients, and revenue.

We want someone who understands the difference between marketing activity and marketing that actually works.

Who This Position Is For

This is not an entry-level position for someone who is interested in marketing, thinks it sounds fun, and expects us to teach them everything from the beginning.

You should already have real marketing experience.

You should have a proven record of helping create, execute, and improve campaigns. You should understand how email, content, social media, landing pages, webinars, automation, and strong calls to action work together to move someone from initial interest to a scheduled conversation.

You do not need to know everything. None of us do.

But you should arrive with strong marketing instincts, practical experience, and enough confidence to contribute ideas—not just wait for assignments.

This position is for an experienced marketer who is ready to take their skills to the next level.

Who You Will Work With

You will work directly alongside Adam Williams, an entrepreneur who has built multiple seven-figure businesses.

Companies Adam has built have appeared on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing privately held companies twice—an achievement reached by only a small number of businesses in the Erie area.

He has also launched two Amazon bestselling books and built businesses through speaking, education, content, referrals, partnerships, events, webinars, and direct-response marketing.

In other words, you will be working closely with someone who has done this before.

You will have the opportunity to see how offers are developed, campaigns are built, audiences are grown, and businesses scale. You will receive direct feedback, exposure to multiple brands and projects, and the opportunity to develop skills that can be difficult to learn inside a traditional marketing department.

But this will not be a job where you simply sit beside Adam, take notes, and carry out instructions.

Your ideas and contributions will be welcomed.

We want someone who notices opportunities, challenges assumptions, studies results, and helps us make our marketing better. When you see a campaign that could be improved, we expect you to speak up. When you have a strong idea, we want to hear it. When the numbers tell us something is not working, we want someone who is willing to help diagnose the problem and change course.

You will have access to proven experience—but you will also be expected to bring experience of your own.

You May Be a Strong Fit If

You have meaningful experience executing marketing campaigns.
You understand that scheduled calls and clients matter more than vanity metrics.
You can turn incomplete ideas into organized projects and finished deliverables.
You have experience with email marketing, CRM systems, marketing automation, landing pages, social media, webinars, or content marketing.
You understand funnels, audience segmentation, calls to action, and conversion.
You can manage multiple projects without losing deadlines or important details.
You are comfortable reviewing results and changing what is not working.
You can work with a fast-moving entrepreneur without requiring perfectly detailed instructions for every task.
You are willing to ask questions, make recommendations, and respectfully challenge an idea.
You can receive direct feedback without becoming defensive.
You care more about completing meaningful work than appearing busy.
You are resourceful and willing to figure things out.

Experience with HighLevel is strongly preferred, although experience with comparable CRM and marketing automation platforms may also be relevant.

Experience marketing professional services, education, legal services, accounting, financial services, consulting, or other expertise-based businesses would be helpful.

You Are Probably Not a Fit If

Most of your experience consists of creating graphics or scheduling social media posts.
You consider impressions, views, followers, and likes to be the primary measures of marketing success.
You need someone to teach you the fundamentals of marketing.
You require step-by-step instructions before beginning every project.
You are uncomfortable being measured by leads, scheduled calls, conversions, clients, and revenue.
You enjoy brainstorming but struggle to finish and launch campaigns.
You repeatedly miss deadlines or need others to track your work for you.
You want a narrow role where you can complete isolated tasks without understanding the larger business objective.
You call yourself a marketing expert but cannot provide clear examples of marketing work that produced results.

Start Part-Time. Earn the Opportunity to Grow.

This position is currently structured as a part-time role, and it may remain that way if that arrangement works well for everyone.

But there is a very real opportunity for it to grow into a full-time position with greater responsibility and increased compensation.

We want to be transparent about why we are starting this way.

We have worked with too many people who called themselves marketing experts, made ambitious promises, produced plenty of activity, and failed to generate meaningful business results.

We are no longer interested in betting heavily on credentials, buzzwords, or a polished interview.

We would rather start working together, see what you can do, and allow the opportunity to grow based on actual results.

That means this role comes with both a challenge and an upside.

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate that you can turn ideas into completed campaigns, build systems that generate scheduled calls, improve how we reach our audiences, and help us understand what is working.

As you demonstrate your value, there will be room to take ownership of larger projects, influence strategy, expand your responsibilities, increase your hours, and grow your compensation.

We are not promising that the position will automatically become full-time after a certain number of months. Growth will depend on the needs of the business, the results we produce together, and whether the role is a strong fit for both sides.

But this is not a dead-end part-time job.

For the right person, it could become a significant role across multiple growing companies. We have no shortage of ideas, campaigns, offers, audiences, and opportunities.

What we need is someone who can help us execute them successfully.
