Full Job Description

LECOM Health Medical Center and Behavioral Health Pavilion, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is currently looking for a Radiology Technologist (Full Time) to join our team.

Position Summary:

LECOM Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, operate specialized equipment including a C-arm in the Operating Room (OR), and provide high-quality patient care. This role also includes on-call responsibilities to support surgical and emergency cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including C-arm fluoroscopy units in the OR for surgical procedures.
Ensure accurate positioning of patients and proper radiation safety measures.
Prepare and maintain imaging records and documentation in the PACS system.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during intraoperative imaging.
Respond to emergency imaging requests and participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications:

Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
State licensure as an X-Ray Technologist in Pennsylvania.
Previous experience operating C-arm equipment in an OR setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and sterile techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility to work varying shifts and participate in on-call coverage.
