Job Title: ASL/Sign Language Interpreter

Job Description: Provides interpreting services in a variety of settings in the community for individuals in need of signed interpreting.

Job Relationships: Responsible to: Erie Office ASL Interpreting Coordinator

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Interpreting or a high school diploma with coursework and/or workshops in interpreting and deafness
Fluency in American Sign Language
RID/NAD certification desired
In-depth knowledge and adherence to the RID Code of Professional Conduct
Some experience interpreting in a variety of settings using various communication modes
Current Act 33 and 34/151 clearances are required
