About the Role:

We’re looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager who thrives on building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service. You’ll be the primary point of contact for commercial clients, handling day-to-day service needs while supporting renewals, policy servicing, and new business efforts.

Salary: $50,000–$100,000 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Client Service & Relationship Management

Serve as the main contact for client requests and inquiries
Handle policy changes, certificates, billing questions, claims reporting, and ID cards
Provide coverage guidance and proactive service

Account Management

Review policies for accuracy and completeness
Identify and resolve discrepancies
Maintain organized, compliant documentation

Marketing & New Business Support

Assist with submissions and quoting
Work with carriers to obtain proposals
Support presentations and proposal development

Underwriting & Coverage Review

Evaluate client risk exposures
Recommend appropriate coverage solutions
Collaborate with carriers on underwriting decisions

Billing & Processing

Manage billing inquiries and follow-ups
Process endorsements, renewals, and policy updates

Requirements:

Required:

Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
2+ years of commercial or personal lines insurance experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability

Preferred:

Commercial lines experience
CISR designation (or in progress)
Familiarity with underwriting and coverage analysis

Skills for Success:

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication
Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset
Working knowledge of insurance products and carrier markets

Carrier portals and rating platforms
Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PDF tools
