At South Hills Rehabilitation Center, we're investing in nursing leadership. We're searching for an experienced Director of Nursing who is passionate about building strong systems, mentoring nurses, maintaining continuous survey readiness, and creating a culture where both residents and staff thrive.

You Won't Be Doing It Alone

One of the biggest reasons DONs leave their roles is lack of support.

That's why we've intentionally built a leadership structure designed to help you succeed.

You'll have:

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Staff Development Coordinator dedicated to education and competency
Clinical Scheduler assisting with staffing coordination
Director of Rehabilitation as an interdisciplinary partner
Dedicated Clinical Recruiter focused on nursing recruitment
Regional Clinical Partner providing hands-on coaching and on-site support
Chief Nursing Officer available for executive clinical guidance

Our goal is simple: give our nursing leaders the resources they need to focus on quality care, leadership, and clinical excellence.

What You'll Lead

As Director of Nursing, you'll oversee all nursing services while helping shape the future of our clinical programs.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and mentor the nursing leadership team
Maintain continuous CMS and state survey readiness
Drive quality improvement initiatives
Build sustainable clinical systems and processes
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Partner with interdisciplinary leaders to improve resident outcomes
Support employee engagement, retention, and professional development
Create an environment where nurses can do their best work

We're Looking For Someone Who

Holds an active, unencumbered Oregon RN license
Has Director of Nursing or senior nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
Is an expert in CMS regulations and state survey readiness
Enjoys mentoring and developing people
Thinks strategically and builds systems instead of temporary fixes
Leads with accountability, collaboration, and compassion
