At PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, Oregon, you'll perform advanced MRI imaging on Siemens 1.5T and 3T systems, care for a diverse patient population, and continue building expertise in one of the Pacific Northwest's leading referral centers.

You're done.

Perform all routine and specialized MRI procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.
You're already comfortable balancing technical excellence with compassionate patient care. The strongest candidates bring:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, or equivalent education and experience required to obtain state licensure, registration, or certification for clinical practice.

Previous MRI experience preferred, with at least one year of experience welcomed.

Strong understanding of MRI and radiology terminology, imaging procedures, anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Confidence performing venipuncture and supporting patients through a variety of imaging experiences.
-
Ability to adapt care based on a patient's age, stage of development, and individual needs.

Working knowledge of PACS/RIS systems and MRI-related computer applications.

Additional requirements:

Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) registration upon hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire

ARRT-MR registration is required within 1 year of hire (except for ARMRIT-certified technologists).

Working Conditions: Regular standing, walking, reaching, and operating imaging equipment. May assist with patient handling and lifting (up to 35 lbs. per NIOSH guidelines with assistive devices as appropriate). Exposure to healthcare environments including biohazards and body fluids. Requires normal vision, hearing, and communication abilities(glasses, contacts, hearing aids permitted).
