About Us
Traxler Management, Inc. is a restaurant administration group that supports a diverse portfolio of hospitality businesses across Oregon. We help our restaurants stay organized, efficient, and well-supported so they can focus on what they do best; creating fun, welcoming, and memorable experiences for guests.
We currently operate 14 locations across Central Oregon, Eugene/Springfield, and the Portland metro area, ranging from lively bars and neighborhood taverns to family-friendly restaurants. Each location has its own personality, but all share a commitment to great service, strong teams, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Our role as the administrative and operational support team is to bring consistency, structure, and practical systems that make day-to-day operations smoother for everyone. We take pride in being a hands-on, collaborative team that helps our restaurants thrive.
About the Role
We are looking for an organized, energetic, and people-focused Administrative Operations Manager to support our growing portfolio of Oregon restaurants.
This is not a traditional desk-based position. It is a hands-on, field-based leadership role for someone who enjoys working directly with people, numbers, improving processes, and helping teams succeed. You will oversee our bookkeeping team, spend regular time in our restaurant locations, assist with bookkeeping and data entry when needed, and help implement QuickBooks and other company-wide systems.
What You’ll Do
Lead and Support Our Bookkeeping Team
- Oversee, train, coach, and support bookkeepers across multiple restaurant locations.
- Establish clear expectations, consistent procedures, and practical best practices.
- Manage bookkeeping schedules, workload distribution, and location coverage.
- Review bookkeeping work for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Step in to assist with data entry, reconciliations, documentation, and bookkeeping coverage when needed.
Work in the Field
- Maintain a regular presence at our restaurant locations throughout Eugene, Central Oregon, and other markets as assigned.
- Work alongside bookkeepers and restaurant leaders to understand what is working and where additional support is needed.
- Provide hands-on coaching, training, troubleshooting, and administrative support.
- Identify process gaps and develop practical solutions that work in a real restaurant environment.
- Build trusted relationships with employees and leaders across the company.
Improve Systems and Processes
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing optimization of QuickBooks.
- Help coordinate the rollout of new administrative, bookkeeping, reporting, and operational systems.
- Develop timelines, test workflows, provide training, and support employees through system changes.
- Create procedures, checklists, training materials, and reference guides.
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and standardize recurring processes.
- Follow up after implementation to ensure new systems are being used consistently and effectively.
Keep Administrative Operations Moving
- Ensure bookkeeping and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Support cash reconciliations, deposits, Oregon Lottery reconciliations, invoices, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
- Investigate discrepancies and partner with bookkeepers and restaurant leaders to resolve them.
- Coordinate administrative projects and company-wide initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Work closely with ownership, HR, Payroll, restaurant leadership, and outside service providers.
- Help bring structure, accountability, and follow-through to cross-functional projects.
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of experience in bookkeeping, administrative operations, accounting support, project coordination, or a related field.
- Previous experience leading, supervising, training, or coaching employees.
- Experience with QuickBooks is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating system implementations or process rollouts is preferred.
- The ability to identify inconsistencies, investigate issues, and follow through on solutions.
- Comfort performing hands-on bookkeeping and data-entry work when needed.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and common business software.
- Experience in restaurants, hospitality, retail, or another multi-location environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Oregon Lottery accounting or gaming reconciliation is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel regularly between company locations.
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Operations, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is welcome.
What We Offer
- Annual salary of $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experience
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days of employment
- 10 days of paid time off
- A fun, collaborative, and fast-moving work environment
- The opportunity to work closely with ownership and leaders across the company
- A role where you can have a visible impact on people, processes, and company growth
- A scrappy team that works together, solves problems, and jumps in wherever needed
