Status: Full-Time | Four-Day Workweek
Are you interested in building a fun and fulfilling career in Oregon's cannabis industry? Do you already have cannabis production or packaging experience and want a change? White Label Extracts is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Cannabis Packaging Specialist to join our team.
This is a full-time, daytime position with a consistent four-day workweek. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, takes pride in accuracy, and can remain focused while completing detailed and repetitive tasks.
White Label Extracts is a locally owned and operated cannabis company with more than 12 years in the industry. Our philosophy is built on long-lasting, mutually beneficial business partnerships with farmers who share our ideals and company standards.
Our goal is to offer the market the highest-quality, highest-purity, and safest products possible at a competitive price, while operating with transparency and strong ethical standards. A high-quality, pesticide-free extract starts with farmers who share our commitment to transparency, safety, and responsible production.
The Packaging Specialist is responsible for accurately weighing, filling, labeling, and packaging cannabis extracts for distribution. Because this position works directly with regulated cannabis products, close attention to detail is essential. All products must be packaged correctly, labeled accurately, and handled in compliance with company procedures and Oregon cannabis regulations.
This role also requires maintaining a consistently clean and sanitary workspace. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable performing repetitive work, and able to maintain both speed and quality throughout a 10-hour shift.
-
Accurately weigh and package cannabis extracts into the correct containers.
-
Apply product and compliance labels carefully and correctly.
-
Fill and prepare finished products for delivery and distribution.
-
Record production, packaging, and inventory information accurately.
-
Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and labeling accuracy.
-
Load and unload products and supplies from machines, carts, and dollies.
-
Keep packaging, processing, and shared production areas clean and sanitized throughout the day.
-
Follow all company procedures, safety standards, and state cannabis regulations.
-
Communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers regarding production needs, issues, and completed work.
-
Manage time effectively to meet daily production goals without sacrificing quality.
-
Assist with other packaging and production responsibilities as assigned.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This position is a good fit for someone who can manage their time efficiently, meet daily production goals, and complete repetitive tasks for extended periods without allowing speed to affect accuracy or product quality.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess a current OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit. Previous experience in cannabis packaging, production, manufacturing, fulfillment, food production, or another detail-oriented environment is preferred.
Because cannabis production needs and regulations can change, employees must be able to adapt quickly to new policies, procedures, techniques, priorities, and production demands. Applicants must also be able to listen carefully, follow detailed instructions, communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers, pass all required pre-employment screenings, and remain compliant with all legal and company requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
This position is performed in a lab-style, temperature-controlled workspace maintained at approximately 61–63 degrees. Applicants must be comfortable working in cooler temperatures for extended periods.
Packaging Specialists may remain seated for long periods and must be able to maintain close visual focus while working with small containers, products, and labels. The work requires extended and repetitive use of the hands, fingers, and arms to fill, cut, label, package, and manipulate small objects throughout a 10-hour shift.
Employees must follow all production-room clothing and cleanliness standards. White Label Extracts provides a company smock. Hair must be tied back securely or covered with an approved hat, and employees with facial hair are required to wear a beard net.
If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to bring a strong work ethic to an established Oregon cannabis company, we encourage you to apply. Join our team and enjoy a consistent daytime schedule, a four-day workweek, and an opportunity to grow your experience in cannabis production and packaging.
