Full Job Description

We are a growing, patient-focused outpatient physical therapy practice dedicated to helping individuals restore movement, reduce pain, and achieve their highest level of function. Our collaborative team values clinical excellence, compassionate care, and lifelong learning while creating an environment where both patients and clinicians thrive.

We are seeking a motivated Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) who is passionate about providing exceptional one-on-one care and building lasting relationships within our community.

Position Summary

The Doctor of Physical Therapy evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and sports-related conditions. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, values evidence-based practice, and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
Provide one-on-one patient care focused on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving function.
Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness.
Accurately document evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, ethical standards, and clinic policies.
Participate in clinic meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture that prioritizes exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

Required

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Current Oregon Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Current CPR certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Preferred

Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
Manual therapy certification or advanced training.
Experience treating sports injuries, vestibular conditions, or pelvic health (a plus but not required).
New graduate Physical Therapist welcome. Must be open to mentorship.
