Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Senior Property Manager to lead our property management team and oversee a diverse portfolio of residential properties. This pivotal role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and clients alike. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining high standards of property upkeep and tenant satisfaction. Duties

Oversee the daily operations of multiple residential properties, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
Manage rental agreement processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
Thorough understanding of Oregon Landlord Tenant Law
Lead and supervise the leasing team, including managing resident applications
Handle conflict management effectively by mediating tenant disputes and resolving issues promptly
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards
Negotiate contracts with vendors for property maintenance and services while managing budgets efficiently
Communicate proactively with tenants via phone etiquette, client communication platforms, and in-person interactions to enhance customer service experience

Experience

4 years proven experience in property management, preferably overseeing multiple sites
Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
Proficiency in property management software
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
Excellent customer service skills with experience in client communication and conflict resolution
Office experience including data entry, filing, Microsoft Office suite
Ability to handle property maintenance issues efficiently while coordinating with vendors and maintenance teams
Industry certifications (CPM, CAPS, CAM, etc.) and a college degree are preferred
