JOB: FULL STACK DEVELOPR/PROGRAMMER
Note: This is a 100% on-site position in Springfield, Oregon. Remote work, hybrid work, and relocation assistance are not available. Applicants must currently live within a reasonable commuting distance of Springfield.
About the Role
IEQ Technology is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our software development team in Springfield, Oregon. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working across the entire application stack—from database design and backend services to APIs, front-end interfaces, and production deployments.
You'll work on a portfolio of established business-critical applications used by thousands of users across North America. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and hands-on, offering opportunities to contribute to new feature development, modernization initiatives, system integrations, performance improvements, and production support.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, can comfortably navigate multiple technologies, and takes ownership of delivering high-quality software from concept to production.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications and APIs
- Build and enhance user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Develop backend services and business logic in C#/.NET and Java-based applications
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas
- Design, implement, and consume REST APIs
- Troubleshoot production issues, investigate root causes, and deliver sustainable solutions
- Participate in modernization efforts for legacy applications and platforms
- Collaborate with project managers, QA, and developers throughout the development lifecycle
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
- Support application deployments and releases through staging and production environments
- Work with third-party integrations and external partner systems
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong full-stack development experience across backend, frontend, and database layers
- Proficiency with C#/.NET and/or Java
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong SQL skills, including query development and database design
- Experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including JWT and token-based security
- Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, or legacy application modernization
- Familiarity with Node.js and real-time application technologies
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
- Experience with Docker, NGINX, IIS, Linux, or Windows Server administration
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern deployment practices
- Learning Management System (LMS) experience, including Moodle, is a plus
- Experience with reporting, document generation, or data export solutions

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
