Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and welcoming Front Desk Agent to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Whether managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, or coordinating with other departments, your proactive approach will drive guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a lively resort environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process
Manage reservations accurately using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and guest services to enhance guest experiences
Handle guest requests promptly, resolving issues with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and special requests
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met efficiently
Conduct night audits as needed to verify daily transactions and ensure financial accuracy
Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests and staff across multi-line systems

Skills

Strong background in hospitality management and hotel operations
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse guest populations effectively
Experience in front desk operations within a resort or hotel setting
Knowledge of guest relations strategies to foster positive guest experiences
Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel management software systems
Exceptional phone etiquette skills for handling inquiries via multi-line phone systems
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Passion for hospitality, guest services, and creating memorable stays for visitors
