Salary Range: $34,944.00 – $38,572.00 per year DOE

Riverview Center for Growth is actively hiring an Instructional Aide / Behavior & Educational Assistant (BEA-I) to support students academically and behaviorally in classroom environments.

- Assist classroom teachers with academic instruction, particularly in English Language Arts (ELA) and math
- Help implement individualized behavior support plans in collaboration with educational staff
- Lead small group activities and provide one-on-one academic support
- Substitute for the teacher when needed during short-term absences
- Supervise and support students during lunch, recess, and other school activities
- Foster a safe, organized, and supportive classroom environment
- Maintain records, assist with student materials, and communicate regularly with the classroom teacher
- Step in for behavior interventions, provide breaks, and engage in check-ins with students as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or the equivalent
- Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education; or obtained an Associate’s (or higher) degree; or meet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate through a formal state, or local academic assessment or para-educator certificate program demonstrating knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing: Reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Work is performed in various settings including office, classroom, therapy rooms, playground, community, homes etc. Some standing, bending, walking, running, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to physically restrain children up to age 13.
- This position requires travel to meet the needs of clients; Driving personal vehicles will be required.
