At Urban Waxx we value an over-the-top guest service experience, and we have fun while we're doing it. We are a wax-only salon and we seek excellence in everything that we do. It's our mission to have the absolute best-Licensed Estheticians and customer service team in the business. While previous salon experience is preferred at our company, it's not a requirement. If you're extra special, we want to talk to you! Urban Waxx is a fun, exciting, fast-paced, and most important, team-focused positive environment.

We are hiring for our Eugene location, with the following schedule:

31 hours / week

Sundays - OFF
Mondays - 1:45 - 7/7:30pm
Tuesdays - 8:30am - 7/3:30pm
Wednesdays - 8:30am - 7/3:30pm
Thursdays - 1:45 - 7/7:30pm
Fridays - OFF
Saturdays - OFF

Requirements

Must have valid Esthetics license in Oregon
Ability to learn and perform a complete array of waxing services for men and women
Must be willing to learn and provide male waxing services (including Male Brazilian) - if this is not something you will do, please to not apply.
Must be positive, friendly, upbeat, and personable with guests and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willing to work flexible days and hours
Ability to connect with guests
Stay updated on retail products and educate guests on the retail we sell. Meet or exceed retail sales goals.
Recognize and support team goals by creating and maintaining positive relationships with team members.
Maintain cleanliness of salon and treatment rooms.
Maintain clear communication with Management about overall salon operations.
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time, 3-4+ hours
No experience is required, we offer an amazing in-house training program!

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time, 3-4+ hours at a time
Walking and moving the entirety of your shift, unless on designated rest and meal breaks
Bending at the waist and torso/spine twisting for the vast majority up to the entirety of your shift.
Pushing, pulling, and lifting equipment in the treatment room
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
Adjusting or moving objects up to 45 pounds, in all directions
Repeating motions that include the arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers

Pay: Commission Based – starting at 25%.

Performance Pay System:

At Urban Waxx, we believe great waxers should be rewarded for more than just the services they perform. Our transparent, performance-based compensation program is designed to increase earning potential as you grow your skills, build guest loyalty, and advance your career. Waxers earn a base commission based on their Service Production Level, with opportunities to increase their service commission through tenure, guest retention, and individual retail performance. Waxers also earn a separate commission on retail product sales, creating even more opportunity to grow their income. Commission rates are reviewed annually to provide consistency and a clear path for long-term growth and the commission rate can increase up to 51%. Simply put, the more you invest in your craft, your guests, and your career at Urban Waxx, the more opportunities you have to increase your earnings.
