Full Job Description

Self-Service Dog Wash Attendant

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who genuinely loves and understands dogs, enjoys working with people, and can confidently work both independently and as part of a team. This position is not entry-level; professional experience with dogs is required.

We’re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in providing a safe, positive experience for both dogs and their people and in maintaining a clean, well-organized environment.

What You’ll Do

Provide friendly, professional customer service (greeting clients, answering questions, handling phone calls, and checkout)
Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized facility throughout the day and during closing shifts
Actively monitor dogs and owners to ensure safety and positive interactions
Perform dog and cat nail trims independently
Use POS systems and wireless devices to manage customer information and transactions
Problem-solve in real time and communicate clearly with teammates and clients

What We Require

Minimum 1 year of professional, on-the-job experience working with dogs(Personal pet experience does not qualify)
Proven, confident ability to perform dog and cat nail trims independently
Strong understanding of dog behavior and safe handling practices
Exceptional cleaning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent reliability, punctuality, and follow-through
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfort using technology (POS systems, tablets, customer databases)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Evening and weekend availability is required
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the role

Compensation & Growth

Hourly pay based on experience
Tips earned in addition to hourly pay
