Front Office Coordinator | Temporary with potential for long-term growth

Express is hiring an internal Front Office Coordinator who loves people, brings positive energy, and is ready to grow. This role is the first voice and first face many visitors and callers experience, so we are looking for someone warm, professional, curious, and quick to connect with others.

We provide training, coaching, and real opportunities to build practical office, recruiting, customer service, marketing, human resources, and technology skills. This is a great fit for someone building their office career experience who is motivated, socially confident, empathetic, and excited to learn how tools, including AI, can help a small team work smarter and serve people better.

Key Tasks

Greet callers, applicants, clients, and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and patience.
Answer and route multiple phone lines while keeping details accurate and moving.
Help applicants through the hiring process by assisting with tech access, gathering information, answering questions, scheduling next steps, and supporting skills evaluations.
Enter and update information in internal systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
Support recruiting, job postings, social media updates, website content, email campaigns, and community outreach.
Assist with office administration, timecard collection, payroll support, e-filing, scanning, supplies, and general organization.
Learn and use technology tools, including client relations and applicant tracking software, text platforms, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, and AI tools that help expand team capacity.

Strong communication skills, including listening well, asking good questions, and explaining next steps clearly.
High social energy, empathy, and confidence working with people in person, by phone, and electronically.
Attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and the ability to stay steady during interruptions.
Comfort learning new systems and using technology to improve accuracy, speed, and team capacity.
A positive, flexible, team-focused attitude and willingness to jump in where needed.
Administrative support, customer service, recruiting, or office experience preferred, but we are open to training the right person.
Basic Word, Excel, Outlook, or similar software skills preferred.
Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred.

Schedule

This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The primary responsibility is serving as the first point of contact for guests and callers.

Pay range: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and verified skills.
