JOB SUMMARY

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for ultrasound examinations utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment; provides direct patient care to patients of all ages, including transportation for services; contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care; participates in the orientation and training of new employees; and covers shifts and call as needed.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Satisfactory completion of training in ultrasound
Echocardiogram experience required
RDMS certification preferred
Current BLS certification or obtain within three months of hire
Experience of varied technical skills specifically in ultrasound preferred

Wages are based on prior related experience.
