The plant comes alive before dawn. You arrive, review the overnight maintenance log, and head to a production cell where a control circuit needs attention. You trace schematics, isolate the fault, swap components, and production stays on schedule. By mid-morning, you're completing preventative maintenance on power distribution gear; in the afternoon, you collaborate with another trade to streamline a controls loop. Safety guides every move, teamwork fuels momentum, and your craftsmanship keeps the lines running.
- Execute electrical layout, installation, repair, and preventative/corrective maintenance on complex plant equipment and circuits.
- Troubleshoot control systems and related components to quickly resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Apply and model OSHA and company safety procedures in every task.
- Interpret and work from electrical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Partner across departments; contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to each assignment.
- Six (6) or more years of related Electrician experience, or a U.S. Department of Labor Certificate of Completion in the Electrical trade.
- Age 18 or older.
- Willing and able to work flexible schedules (day/afternoon/night), daily overtime, weekends, and holidays, sometimes with short notice.

This role may be filled as a Journeyperson In Training (JIT) or Journeyperson. JIT hourly range: $37.78 – $44.08. Journeyperson rate: $44.98. Your status and pay are determined by certificates/credentials and interview scoring.
