We are looking to build our testing and quality assurance capabilities with a dedicated Test Engineer who can help ensure the integrity and reliability of our products. About the opportunity

This role sits within a collaborative quality assurance function based in Chicago, Illinois. As a Test Engineer, you would contribute to the design, execution and automation of test strategies across our product portfolio. The work could involve partnering with engineering and product teams to define quality metrics, manage defects through their lifecycle, and validate compliance requirements. You would have scope to grow your technical expertise in test automation while building your understanding of broader quality assurance practices.

What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

Designing and executing manual and automated test plans aligned with product requirements
Building and maintaining test automation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
Logging, tracking and collaborating on defect resolution using quality management systems and issue tracking platforms
Contributing to the development and refinement of quality metrics and testing standards
Validating product compliance against regulatory and internal quality requirements
Communicating test results, coverage and risk assessments to engineering and product teams
Supporting the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

2–5 years of hands-on experience in QA, test engineering or quality assurance
Practical experience designing and executing both manual and automated test cases
Working knowledge of test management tools and issue tracking systems such as Jira
Familiarity with quality management systems and defect lifecycle management
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent professional testing certification
Authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

ISTQB Advanced Tester, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Test Automation Engineer (CTAE) or Selenium Certification
Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages
Exposure to compliance validation and regulated product environments
