Job Title: Treatment coordinator – Dental Office
Location: Chicago, IL
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: Based on experience + bonus potential
Schedule: Alternating 4 Day work week Mon-Thurs, Tues-Fri. Monday (9-6pm) Tues (9am-6:pm), Wed (9:30am-7pm), Friday (9am-3pm)

About the Opportunity

Monarch Dental Studio is a patient-centered, modern restorative and cosmetic dental practice focused on comprehensive care, full-mouth rehabilitation, smile design, and life-changing dentistry.

We are not a high-volume dental mill. We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator who can build relationships with patients, guide them through treatment decisions, and help them confidently move forward with care.

Position Overview

The Treatment Coordinator serves as the bridge between clinical care and patient decision-making.

This role is responsible for presenting treatment plans, reviewing financial options, coordinating patient care, and ensuring patients have a clear understanding of their treatment recommendations.

The ideal candidate is confident, professional, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable discussing finances.

Responsibilities

Present treatment plans and review recommendations with patients
Discuss insurance benefits and estimated patient portions
Review financing options including Cherry, Sunbit, and third-party financing
Coordinate treatment sequencing and scheduling
Follow up on unscheduled treatment
Maintain treatment acceptance reports and tracking systems
Build rapport and trust with patients
Coordinate large restorative and implant cases
Ensure patients understand treatment recommendations and next steps
Work closely with the doctor and clinical team to provide a seamless patient experience
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Open Dental

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of dental experience preferred
Treatment Coordinator experience strongly preferred
Experience discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements
Knowledge of PPO insurance preferred
Experience with Open Dental preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Preferred Experience

Comprehensive restorative dentistry
Implant treatment planning
Full-mouth rehabilitation cases
Cosmetic dentistry
Third-party financing platforms

Compensation

$25–$32 per hour depending on experience
