POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley's digital marketing strategy to increase awareness, engagement, advocacy, volunteerism, and philanthropic support. This role serves as the organization's primary digital storyteller, overseeing social media management, content creation, paid advertising, email marketing, website updates, and digital analytics.
Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Digital Marketing Manager plays a key role in advancing the organization's mission through compelling content, strategic campaigns, and data-driven marketing initiatives that connect with donors, volunteers, partners, families, and the broader community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management Develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns that support organizational priorities, fundraising initiatives, events, volunteer recruitment, and community awareness. Manage and optimize paid digital advertising across platforms including Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant channels. Create audience segmentation strategies and campaign targeting to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions. Monitor campaign performance and adjust tactics based on analytics and key performance indicators. Assist with digital promotion of special events, fundraising campaigns, program initiatives, and community partnerships.
Social Media Strategy & Management
Lead day-to-day management of all organizational social media platforms. Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar aligned with organizational goals and campaigns. Create engaging, mission-driven content that increases audience growth, engagement, and brand awareness. Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner. Track and report social media performance metrics and audience insights.
Content Creation & Storytelling
Produce compelling written content for digital channels including social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, and digital advertisements. Gather and develop family stories, volunteer spotlights, donor features, and organizational impact stories. Create visual and multimedia content including graphics, photography, video, and short-form digital content. Ensure all content reflects organizational branding, messaging standards, and mission. Collaborate with staff, volunteers, corporate partners, and community stakeholders to capture and share meaningful stories.
Website & Email Marketing
Maintain and update website content through WordPress, ensuring information remains current, accurate, and engaging. Optimize website content for user experience, search engine visibility, and conversions. Develop and execute email marketing campaigns and digital newsletters. Monitor email performance metrics and implement improvements to increase engagement.
Analytics & Reporting
Utilize Google Analytics and platform-specific reporting tools to evaluate digital performance. Develop regular reports highlighting digital marketing effectiveness, audience growth, engagement trends, and campaign outcomes. Use data insights to guide content strategy and marketing decisions. Monitor website traffic, advertising performance, email metrics, and social media analytics.
Brand Stewardship
Ensure consistency of organizational voice, messaging, and visual identity across all digital platforms. Support brand modernization efforts and implementation of organizational marketing standards. Assist in maintaining digital asset libraries and marketing resources. Serve as a champion of brand integrity and storytelling excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or communications. Experience managing paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing budgets preferred. Nonprofit marketing experience is a plus. Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and related applications. Experience using Canva for content creation and digital asset development. Experience managing websites through WordPress. Knowledge of Google Analytics and digital performance reporting. Experience utilizing Bloomerang or similar CRM and email marketing platforms. Exceptional copywriting, editing, and storytelling abilities. Strong photography, video production, and content creation skills. Understanding of digital advertising, audience targeting, and media placement strategies. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

This position operates in a hybrid work environment with responsibilities performed both remotely and at Ronald McDonald House Charities locations, partner facilities, and community events throughout the service area.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
