Description:
Keystone Perfusion Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Staff Perfusionist to join our growing team at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Our perfusion program is expanding to accommodate continued case growth, and we're adding to our team to keep pace - on-call responsibilities are shared evenly across the team.
As a Staff Perfusionist, you will be responsible for all aspects of perfusion-related services in collaboration with departments of anesthesia, surgery, and nursing administration. You will ensure safe and proper operation and quality control of equipment, techniques, and procedures; and analyze and evaluate activities to assure established quality patient care.
You will be responsible for performing clinical perfusion administration as scheduled and coordinating purchasing of supplies and equipment to maximize efficient utilization. You will also contribute to planning goals and objectives for the department and assist the director in coordinating activities and programs. You will help maintain quality improvement programs for the perfusion department in collaboration with hospital programs and compliance with regulatory and accreditation agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of perfusion-related services in collaboration with anesthesia, surgery, and nursing administration.
- Ensure safe operation and quality control of equipment, techniques, and procedures.
- Coordinate purchasing of supplies and equipment to maximize efficient utilization.
- Contribute to departmental planning goals and objectives, assisting the director as needed.
- Maintain quality improvement programs in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotation, shared evenly across the team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program
- Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
- American Heart Association or Red Cross health care provider BLS Certification

License/Certification:
- ABCP Certification or ABCP Board Eligible (Required)
- Note: Indiana does not require state licensure for perfusionists.
