Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to lead construction projects from initial bid to successful completion. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project timelines, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring project material are delivered on time and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with leadership skills in a fast-paced construction environment. Your proactive approach and strong communication will drive project success and client satisfaction.

Duties

Develop comprehensive construction estimates utilizing industry-standard software such as Foxit, Planswift and Procore, ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control.
Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work and identify potential risks or opportunities for cost savings.
Lead negotiations with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and pricing while maintaining strong professional relationships.
Coordinate project schedules, resources, and submittals to ensure timely delivery of construction projects materials with client expectations.
Oversee construction activities to monitor progress, quality standards, and providing guidance as needed.
Manage contracts including scope changes, change orders, and documentation to maintain project profitability.
Implement effective project management practices to track costs, schedule milestones, and ensure seamless communication across teams.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating combined with project management expertise in commercial projects.
Proficiency with digital markup and document management; experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is essential.
Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing while fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Solid understanding of construction estimating principles, cost control strategies, and pricing methodologies.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams, clients, and vendors confidently.
