Job Title: Experienced Butcher (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience cutting, trimming, and preparing meats, along with a strong commitment to quality, food safety, and customer service. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their craft and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cut, trim, debone, tie, and grind meats to company and customer specifications
Prepare and display meat products attractively in cases and displays
Provide excellent customer service, including custom cuts and recommendations
Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards (cleaning equipment, work areas, etc.)
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving products
Ensure proper labeling, dating, and rotation of products
Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as slicers, grinders, and saws
Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

Previous butcher or meat cutter experience required (grocery, butcher shop, or restaurant)
Knowledge of different cuts of beef, pork, poultry, and seafood
Strong knife skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods
Ability to lift 40–60 lbs regularly
Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays (if needed)

Preferred (but not required):

Experience in retail grocery or specialty meat markets
Food safety certification
