As a Neonatal ICU Charge RN in a nonprofit hospital with a Level IV NICU, this role leads care for the most fragile newborns requiring complex therapies such as ECMO, high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia. The Night Shift NICU Charge Nurse coordinates family-centered care in a unit designed for bonding, privacy, and developmental support, with lactation services, integrated social work, and child-life collaboration.
