We are hiring a full-time Dispatcher / Operations Associate to support daily delivery operations, communicate with drivers, and ensure routes are completed safely and efficiently.
Our delivery operations serve Everett, Marysville, Arlington, Lynnwood, Brier, Bothell, Snohomish, Mount Vernon, Mountlake Terrace, Mill Creek, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Granite Falls, Camano Island, Stanwood, Shoreline, Kirkland, and surrounding areas.
This is a key operations role for someone who is organized, calm under pressure, comfortable with technology, and able to communicate clearly with drivers, managers, and station partners.
Role Overview
The Dispatcher is responsible for helping manage the daily flow of delivery operations. You will assist with driver check-in, route assignments, vehicle readiness, communication during routes, package recovery, safety follow-up, and end-of-day closeout.
You will be a main point of contact for Delivery Associates while they are on the road and will help solve problems quickly while keeping safety, quality, and customer service as top priorities.
Responsibilities
As a Dispatcher / Operations Associate, you will:
- Support daily launch operations and help drivers get on the road on time
- Assist with driver check-in, device readiness, van assignments, and route preparation
- Monitor driver progress throughout the day using delivery technology
- Communicate with drivers regarding route updates, delays, rescues, returns, and safety concerns
- Coordinate rescue routes when drivers need support
- Help troubleshoot delivery issues, access problems, customer concerns, and route delays
- Track attendance, call-outs, route coverage, and daily staffing needs
- Maintain professional communication with drivers, leadership, and station partners
- Support safety compliance and reinforce safe driving and delivery practices
- Document incidents, performance issues, vehicle concerns, and operational updates
- Assist with end-of-day check-in, package returns, device returns, and vehicle closeout
- Help create a positive team culture built on safety, accountability, and respect
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Prior dispatch, delivery, logistics, warehouse, transportation, or operations experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using smartphones, computers, routing tools, spreadsheets, and delivery apps
- Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to coach drivers respectfully and professionally
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Preferred Experience
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with Amazon DSP operations
- Prior Delivery Associate experience
- Dispatching, fleet, logistics, transportation, or warehouse leadership experience
- Experience managing drivers or field employees
- Familiarity with route tracking, safety metrics, and delivery performance goals
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Schedule may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
