Full Job Description

Brikat Homes is an award-winning home builder and developer creating thoughtfully designed homes throughout the Greater Seattle area. We're looking for an organized, proactive Administrative & Project Coordinator to become the administrative hub that helps keep our projects, people, and processes moving forward.

This role is perfect for someone who loves creating order, keeping projects moving, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll work directly with company leadership while supporting our construction, real estate, and design teams. This position plays a key role in helping our team stay focused on what they do best by ensuring the administrative side of every project stays organized, communicated, and on track.

What You'll Do

Coordinate administrative activities from project startup through homeowner handoff.
Track project timelines, insurance renewals, warranties, utilities, permits, and other important deadlines.
Maintain organized project files, spreadsheets, and company tracking systems.
Serve as the administrative point person, ensuring projects stay organized and important details are communicated and completed.
Prepare project documents, specification books, construction signage, and other administrative materials.
Route invoices and ensure documentation is complete before submission to accounting.
Update website content and create polished company documents and marketing materials using Canva.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, insurance providers, escrow companies, and real estate professionals.
Keep our project tracking systems and office whiteboards up to date.
Follow up on outstanding items and proactively communicate status updates to the team.
Continuously improve and organize administrative systems as our company grows.

Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Canva.
Communicate confidently and professionally by both phone and email.
Be comfortable picking up the phone and following up when an email isn't enough.
Ask thoughtful questions rather than making assumptions.

Enjoys finding better ways to organize and communicate information and improve processes.
Enjoy juggling multiple priorities while staying organized.
Have an interest in construction, real estate, design, or development (experience is helpful but not required).

Schedule

Part-time: 20–24 hours per week through the summer
Flexible weekday schedule (Monday–Thursday preferred)
This position is anticipated to grow to approximately 28-30 hours per week this fall for the right candidate as responsibilities expand.

Qualifications

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Canva. Experience with Buildertrend, Adaptive, SharePoint, or similar software is a plus (we're happy to train the right person).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to professionally follow up by both phone and email.
Naturally proactive and comfortable asking questions to gain clarity rather than making assumptions.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to track deadlines and follow tasks through to completion.
Comfortable creating, maintaining, and improving spreadsheets, checklists, and organizational systems.
Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Enjoys building systems, improving processes, and finding better ways to stay organized.
Interest in construction, real estate, design, or development is preferred, but direct industry experience is not required.
Previous experience in administrative support, project coordination, office management, real estate, construction, or a similar fast-paced environment is preferred.
Exceptional recent college graduates with strong organziational skills and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
