Guest Service Agent – Part-TimeOverview

We are seeking a highly motivated, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Guest Service Agent.

The primary purpose of this position is to help fill gaps in front desk coverage based on business needs, employee absences, vacations, and schedule availability. Hours and shifts may vary from week to week, and this position may not have a permanently assigned schedule.

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be one of the first points of contact for our guests. You will provide friendly, professional service and help ensure a positive experience throughout each guest’s stay.

Schedule Requirements

Part-time position with variable hours
Must have open availability for mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
Must be willing to pick up shifts as coverage needs arise
Weekly hours and shifts are not guaranteed and may vary based on hotel occupancy and staffing needs

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns professionally and promptly
Assist with transportation arrangements, luggage assistance, and other guest needs
Process payments and maintain accurate guest account records
Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, engineering, food and beverage, and other hotel departments
Help create a smooth and memorable experience for every guest

Qualifications

Previous front desk, hotel, or customer service experience is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, dependable, and punctual
Ability to remain calm and diplomatic during difficult situations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with hotel management systems and professional telephone etiquette is preferred
Fluency in additional languages is a plus
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
