Full Job Description

Supervisor: Operations Manager

All employees are subject to drug testing.

The Operations Assistant at National Aviation Academy will play a pivotal role in helping to maintain an environment at the New England campus that is welcoming, efficient, supportive and operationally sound. As a member of the Operations team, this person will play an important role in creating a positive culture and experience for staff, students, and visitors. The responsibilities of this position are a blend of administrative, operational, and project-based tasks.

Operations Assistant Job Duties

· Provide a wide range of receptionist duties including but not limited to answering multi-line telephone and welcoming visitors & staff.

· Provide basic administrative duties (e.g. routing calls and faxes, assisting students in copying and faxing, weighing/processing mail and delivery vendors, etc.)

· Support the Admissions team regarding student orientation, collecting registration fees and printing handbooks.

· Prepare identification cards for students/staff, and disseminate parking registration stickers and student uniforms.

· Assist with minor facilities items, such as changing the front marquee and moving tables.

· Assist with emergency procedures, such as reporting, evacuating, and accounting for all persons.

· Ensure all areas of company operations are supported thoroughly and effeciently and that the front desk/telephones are covered at all times.

· Establish and uphold policies and procedures that enhance operational controls and efficiency.

· Conduct various financial transactions, including book sales and tuition payments.

· Assist in PSI Test Center as a test proctor

· Other duties and special projects as assigned.

· Attend professional seminars and meetings as appropriate to enhance educational and professional growth.

Assistant Registrar Job Duties

· Create and maintain enrollment folders for incoming students

· Upload all enrollment documents into applicable student information system (ie. Electronic folders, Klassapp, anthology)

· Process all High School Transcript Request and receive POG

· Obtain Transcripts, if required, for Prior Credit Evaluations (PCE)

· Other duties, as assigned by registrar

Required Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 1 – 3 years of administrative experience preferred

· Basic computer/internet skills required

Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
