Help Build the Future of Trailer Boss

Trailer Boss is one of the largest trailer dealerships in the Northwest and the nation's largest MAXX-D trailer dealer. With six growing locations across Washington and Utah, we are creating a brand-new Corporate Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager position — and we're looking for a true self-starter to build it.

This is not a plug-and-play role. Our F&I operation is in its early stages, and the right candidate will take ownership of it: designing the processes, growing lender relationships, driving product penetration, and turning F&I into a major profit center across all six stores. If you've ever wanted to run an F&I department the way you think it should be run, this is that opportunity.

Position Summary

The Corporate F&I Manager works directly with customers by phone and video (Zoom) after they have committed to purchasing a trailer at one of our six Trailer Boss locations. You'll secure the best financing solution available, present valuable protection products, and serve as the final step in the sales process — ensuring every customer receives a professional finance consultation, understands all available protection products, and completes the required compliance documents.

Because this is a centralized, remote-delivery F&I model, strong virtual presentation skills matter. You'll walk customers through menus, financing terms, and e-signature documents over video with the same professionalism they'd experience sitting across the desk.

Primary Responsibilities

Contact every retail customer by phone or Zoom after they commit to purchasing a trailer.
Review each customer's financing needs and secure the best lending solution through our network of banks, credit unions, and finance partners.
Present and explain the benefits of:
Extended Service Contracts
Tire & Wheel Protection
Theft Protection
GAP Protection
Conduct professional virtual F&I presentations, answer customer questions, and help customers select the protection options that best fit their needs.
Ensure every customer signs the required acceptance or decline forms for all F&I products, maintaining 100% compliance.
Process finance contracts accurately and efficiently.
Build and maintain relationships with lending institutions while continually adding new financing sources and programs.
Partner with sales managers and associates across all six locations to deliver an outstanding, seamless customer experience.
Build the playbook: develop and continuously improve Trailer Boss's F&I processes, menus, training, and best practices as the program scales.

Qualifications

Previous F&I experience in automotive, RV, powersports, marine, equipment, or trailer dealerships preferred.
Experience with indirect lending and finance contract processing.
Proven self-starter who thrives with autonomy — you'll be building this department, not inheriting one.
Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills, including comfort presenting over phone and video.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent documentation and compliance habits.
Ability to explain financing and protection products clearly, professionally, and without pressure.
Experience with dealership management systems preferred.
