Full Job Description

FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST/PATIENT COORDINATOR

Prevail Physical Therapy in Shoreline is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our outpatient physical therapy practice. This is a full time, in-person position, 30-40 hrs per week. The position assists both the physical therapists, the front desk manager and the office manager in the day-to-day operations of the clinic and requires the ability to multitask while maintaining high attention to detail.

As part of our Team, you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

Manage/assist insurance authorization process
Greeting and welcoming patients that are checking in for their appts
Manage patient calls, voicemails, emails, and online appointment requests
Schedule appointments, answer inquiries, triage patient scheduling
Manage patient and interoffice communication system
Prepare and manage electronic patient records
Manage patient flow
Scanning, filing, shredding, faxing, and general office administration on a daily basis with some light cleaning.
Willingness to cross-train to improve practice efficiency.

Candidate must be able to multitask in a busy environment, work without direct supervision, collaborate and function well with the rest of the work team and strive for continuous improvement. Front desk staff must be able to present professional customer service even with challenging clients, and maintain a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written are a must. Health care experience is highly preferred, ideally in a physical therapy or chiropractic setting.

Benefits include:

The pay rate is $23-25 per hour DOE.
PTO (paid time off) 2 weeks per year
UTO (unpaid time off) 1 weeks per year

$100/month alternative transportation stipend for nonmotorized commuting more than 50% of work days
