Position Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Reports To: Vice President for Finance and Operations
Typical Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility to support occasional after-hours events
Salary Range: 80,000 to 100,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Campus Safety

Provide morning and afternoon parking lot supervision to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow

Oversee campus access points and visitor check-in procedures

Manage and maintain the campus card access system
- Monitor and support the campus camera system
- Maintain a visible safety presence across multiple campuses
- Enforce school safety policies and procedures in a consistent and professional manner
- Provide safety support for school events, athletic activities, and after-hours functions as assigned
Emergency Preparedness

Oversee and maintain the school’s emergency operations plan

Coordinate and conduct emergency drills and related training for staff and students in accordance with best practices and state standards

Manage annual fire safety requirements, including planning and compliance coordination
- Build and maintain relationships with local emergency management, law enforcement and fire departments
- Oversee communication systems, including handheld radios, to ensure operational readiness
- Coordinate inspections and maintenance of fire panels, sprinkler systems, and fire extinguishers

Maintain and update the Emergency Operations Plan, including procedures and assigned roles
- Manage emergency supplies and inventory; provide recommendations for improvements
- Communicate safety concerns clearly and professionally

Proactively identify and address campus safety concerns to mitigate risk
Supervisory Responsibilities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Knowledge of Incident Command System preferred
-
Prior Experience in law enforcement, military service, campus security, or private security required

Training in emergency response, de-escalation, or crisis management preferred

Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Experience in school or youth-centered environment preferred

Currently held CPR and First Aid Certification (with Epinephrine Auto Injector supplement included), or arrangements made to obtain certification within 90 days of employment start date)
