Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure high-quality production standards are met while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturing specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to innovative manufacturing processes in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications
Set up CNC equipment by installing tooling, calibrating machines, and programming using CNC programming languages such as G-code, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to determine machining requirements and ensure accurate fabrication
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on industrial equipment to maintain optimal operation.
Maintain safety standards in accordance with industry regulations by following proper procedures for machine operation and materials handling
Document production activities, quality control checks, and machine performance logs for continuous process improvement

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar industrial equipment within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and CAM programming software; familiarity with CAD tools like SolidWorks is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation accurately.
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of shop math, tooling setup, fabrication processes, and materials handling.
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments
Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including proper use of hand tools and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for quality assurance
