We are seeking a motivated and organized Junior Account Manager to support our growing client base. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to gain hands-on experience in account management, logistics, fulfillment, and business operations.
Position Summary
The Junior Account Manager will work closely with a Senior Account Manager to support the day-to-day needs of assigned client accounts. This position serves as a communication link between our clients and internal warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, shipping, and production teams.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Account Manager with the daily management of assigned client accounts.
Respond promptly and professionally to routine client questions and requests.
Coordinate client projects and orders with warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, shipping, printing, and other internal departments.
Monitor order activity, inventory levels, inbound shipments, special projects, and client deadlines.
Help ensure client instructions, pricing, specifications, and service requirements are properly documented and communicated.
Research and help resolve order, inventory, shipping, receiving, and billing questions.
Prepare client reports, order updates, inventory information, pricing requests, and project summaries.
Enter and maintain accurate information in company systems, spreadsheets, and client records.
Participate in client meetings and assist with meeting notes and follow-up items.
Track open issues and follow through with internal teams until they are resolved.
Learn the company’s warehouse management system, fulfillment processes, shipping procedures, and service offerings.
Identify potential service problems and promptly escalate them to the Senior Account Manager.
Help develop strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing dependable and responsive service.
Assist with additional account management and operational projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, logistics, communications, or a related field preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
Zero to two years of experience in customer service, account coordination, logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, or a related business environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
Professional and service-oriented approach to working with clients.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership of issues.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other business software.
Ability to learn warehouse management, order management, and shipping systems.
Able to work effectively with office, warehouse, production, and management personnel.
Dependable, positive, and willing to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or work experience in logistics, distribution, customer service, account management, or operations.
Experience using Excel to organize and analyze information.
Familiarity with e-commerce, shipping, inventory, or warehouse operations.
Experience working directly with business customers.

A successful Junior Account Manager will become a dependable resource for both clients and internal teams. The individual will learn our operations, communicate clearly, maintain accurate information, follow through on commitments, and gradually assume greater responsibility for managing client accounts.
Work Environment
This is an on-site position located at our North Kansas City facility. The role is primarily office-based but regularly involves communication and coordination with employees working throughout the warehouse and production areas.
